Welcoming any thoughts on the above purchase of a home. No schools - Kids live in another state - We work from home but use the LIRR a few times a month. Looking for better (ha) lower taxes smaller home. All above locations look so nice beautiful areas pros cons and thanks all. No flames / just pros cons.

There’s a lot of “thin blue line” flags flying in 3 of those towns.

Massapequa will get you the most for your money because it is a bit further from the city, which doesn't seem to be an issue for you. You can buy a house in Massapequa in the Amityville school district at a steep discount compared to the other local school districts. It may hurt you if you ever resell though.
