Fuddrucker's fixings bar is sort of a mini buffet for your sandwich. As a big time veggie lover, I miss this and hope it returns soon. I had never Fudd-rucked while living on LI; there are two locations where I live now.
Fuddruckers fixing bar is a hot mess.

The rona can be passed by people sharing the same utensils at a buffet, like tongs. Coming soon, buffets will be back with gloved servers filling your plate. A friend who lives in Abu Dhabi went to a reopened buffet and this is exactly how it was done.

do you have actual scientific proof corona virus can be spread that way? links to scientific articles?

in other words, where is your source?

or do you just believe its true because the TV said so?

some people believe they have to wear their face mask as they ride a bike in 90 degree heat, or wear a mask in their car or else they can catch the rona.

I'm no foodie, but the minute you start talking about a "trick" on how to eat for the most gain, you're doing food wrong. Don't be that American guy.

You said the Chinese will do anything for money - what did the above just say about you?

Chen's Buffet City right next to miller ale house was a really good buffet, I never ate at one until my friend convenience me to go. He saw me pay $7.99 for a bowl of fruit he said he for a couple more dollars we can go to the buffet you can have all that fruit plus more, and fish and salmon. I said lets go.

there was always a huge I think it was called Italian salmon, it was basically just a huge salmon but it wasnt low quality food it was a huge fish, it was a salmon, and it use to taste great. I never went that much, here and there.

I started eating back there every day in feb to try a new diet plan, fast for 18 hours after a big meal. it was my post work out meal.

use to just eat salmon, white fish, some sushi, baked spinish, fruits, bananas dipped in the chocolate fountain and even some chocolate peanut butter cookies, I could not resist those damn cookies, but still, my diet plan was working in march I was seeing great results, even with eating the cookies and the chocolate dipped banana. I guess the fast works where you have more time to digest and you dont get clogged.

I use to follow a eat every 3 hour plan with great results for years, still, i was spending less on food and still getting in shape.

then the shut down, happen and now that we are back, there is NO PLACE I can go pay $10 and eat all that and continue with my experiment. I would spend over $100 a day if I tried. It was an interesing experiment. I could still eat cookies and chocolate, if I ate more fish.

salmon, white fish, fruit and veggies. I dont care what you say, thats one of the best meals you can have. protein and many vitamins and minerals.

but not all buffets were liked that, the ones in California were not as good. Hopefully the buffet I use to go to opens back up again.

they were are great place for people with little money to eat like kings. some had really healthy food options.

for example for about $10 you could eat samon, sushi, salad, fruits and vegetables.

thats better then $10 at mcdonalds or burger king!

I would eat gas station sushi before I'd eat all-you-can-eat buffet sushi.

Why? Often at those buffet sushi stations there is someone there making it fresh all the time.

For me it has nothing to do with "catching the rona." I wear a mask when riding a bike and in my car simply because when I'm outside my house, I don't want to touch my face.

Of the finest of fresh product and under the most extraordinary care, right? All you can eat - ten bucks.

If it was that bad for you, people would have already been sick from it and a crap-storm ensues on Yelp... hasn't happened through all the years.

As for the business model - yes it's $10, so profit by volume. Chen's has simple offerings, yet packed all the time so by default is fresh. It's not $30 buffet quality, but to compare it to gas station sushi is kind of ridiculous.

Another good buffet made-to-order-fresh is Sushi Village for ~$20. Masa is very comparable.
