My LIPA bill is around $130 a month for a 3 bedroom house with 3 people living here. Of course, that is without A/C. It is about $400 a month with during the summer with central air. I turn it on as little as possible. Got a lot of FANS going in the summer months. lol

I don't have balanced billing with LIPA but I do with KEYSPAN for my heat. I HAVE to do that. LIPA may be bad, but KEYSPAN is far worse. You have 2 weeks (used to be 30 days) to pay the ENTIRE bill or they charge you interest. LIPA hasn't gotten around to doing that yet.

when you guys say $200 per month, does that mean your bill is $400 for the cycle? i ask because lipa sends me a bill every two months.

my three bedroom home with a above ground pool, 3 ac's used sparingly, 4 person household and we pay on the "budget plan" $258.oo per month, my summer bills for two months are close to $ 700.00 we heat with oil so thats without gas. its insane''''''''' lipa bills every two months unless your on the budget plan, and pay monthly based on previous years usage.
can't wait to leave long island and lipa's control'''''''
