I am an 18yr old kid considering moving to SoCal in a few years. Having only been to Anehiem (hope i spelled that right), I like the area and the environment, it sure beats misty western washington and dusty eastern washington (lived in Seattle for first 15yrs, lived in yakima since 07) Either way here is some info about me to hopefully help:

-- I am a libertarian agnostic... I can tolerate liberals.
-- I am good with technology, computer repair, HTML/PHP Programming, I also design video games and film short films. So tech is a field i wish to follow.
-- Yes I do intend to raise a family (obviously much later on(
-- I'm not the gang-banger/druggie/rebel type.
-- My budget for a home would be somewhere in the 100k - 300k range.
-- Im visually impaired (not severem bad enought to where i cant operate a motor vehicle so public transit is a must)

Any other info that d help you, just ask.

Find a job
Use a internet real estate database to find homes in your price range

"Im visually impaired (not severem bad enought to where i cant operate a motor vehicle so public transit is a must)"

This sounds like a contradiction.

Does this mean you can operate a motor vehicle? Does it mean you can't operate a moter vehicle?

The m is supposed to be a comma, as in

Quote:
not severe, bad enough to where i can't operate a motor vehicle so public transit is a must
It probably should read

Quote:
not severe, however bad enough to where i can't operate a motor vehicle so public transit is a must

I can't really help since in a few years so much can change. Best advice, decide what you want to do for a living, get a college degree where you are because CA OOS tuition will kill ya, break into the field any way you can. Then, after you have some work experience, you can try to move wherever you want as long as you can find a job.

Until then, feel free to visit.
