Nuh-uh. Can't read that. Doesn't fit the chosen narrative.

They cannot forcibly relocate the homeless or force them to live in a particular place. You don't need to take my word for it, read the court case and the subsequent stipulation and order with the ACLU.
Because in the history of the world court cases never ever get overturned right ?

Many of the ACLU cases are frivolous ones .

They care more about helping themselves versus Americans .

Enough with the frivolous lawsuits in this country that just enrich scumbag attorneys and create little cottage industries for them .

The 9th Circuit gets overturned more than any of the other federal circuits.

In addition, those Carter appointees that gave the 9th circuit and the Central District of California in particular its ultra-liberal tinge are dying or retiring fast. So the next president could change things.

And if the decision is not overturned, what then? All that would happen is that LAPD could arrest the homeless for illegal camping. That doesn't even mean that they would do it, does it? It would be a PR nightmare if LAPD started throwing hundreds of people in jail every night when there was no alternative available to sleeping on the streets

So, what do you think would happen if the decision was overturned? Do you think your homeless problem would suddenly be solved?

It wouldn't be solved completely but it would improve considerably.

How? I don't think you understand how limited the scope of the lawsuit was. The court said you can't put someone in jail for sleeping in a public place unless you can first offer them another place to sleep -that is all it did, it doesn't allow for 'round ups' of the homeless, or for relocating them to Barstow

And a city overflowing with tents and makeshift forts isn't? The PR nightmare is already here.

Carter doubled the size of the 9th Circuit and greatly increased the number of federal judges in California and particularly in the Central District, which reflected the rapid increase in population in the state and particularly in Los Angeles. That is why his appointees have continued to dominate the federal bench in California particularly Southern California until not that long ago. His appointees were more left wing than any other president's.
