Higher property taxes certainly made California great, and without them, we've become like the worst of Europe, with a landed aristocracy and taxed to death on virtually everything else.

Vega, once again your erudition astounds me.

I'm voting Trump and I am not a deplorable uneducated person.
So, just so you know, exactly 0 of the economic advisers to presidents going back to Nixon have endorsed Trump. They have all endorsed Clinton or Johnson. So much for his views on trade.

In regard to the right to bear arms they aren't that far apart on their views. Both agreed at the debate that those on the no fly list shouldn't be able to buy weapons. FWIW Trump used to be stricter than Hillary on firearms, just like he also said that there should be a 1 time tax of the wealthy to pay off the debt - so I have no idea how you can actually trust what he says on the 2nd amendment. Everyone kept saying Obama was going to take all the firearms, and here we are 8 years later and it hasn't happened. I own 2 firearms and enjoy hunting and target shooting, this is not liberal spin.

In regards to immigration, you should youtube Reagan vs Bush on immigration. They essentially agree to what we currently have now. In fact, both Reagan and Bush Sr passed executive orders granting temporary immunity for migrant workers from deportation... just like Obama did. So, assuming Clinton is the same as Obama on immigration, it seems pretty standard protocol to me.

Building a wall would cost trillions of dollars. Mexico is not going to pay for that. Trump already said he is not touching Social Security, Medicaid, or Medicare and wants to invest in infrastructure - and he's also talked about free childcare. Assuming he doesn't touch defense spending that's like 80% of the budget that he's not decreasing. He has a 1 penny on the dollar, or 1% idea for saving money. So that's 1% of 20% (one fifth of one percent) of the budget that he would actually cut, which is essentially nothing. Add on the cost of the wall and the debt is even worse off now than we are now.

Is this true? Do you have names? I'd like to investigate further.

Let's not reignite those crackpot right wing conspiracy theories from the 1990's. They weren't true then and they aren't true now no matter how eager the Fox News sheep are to believe it.

He's trailing Clinton by 20% in CA. The fact some of you think he has a chance of winning says more about you and your associates than it does about your unhinged candidate.
