a) Attach a license plate to the front of your car;

b) Go to your local law enforcement station and ask for an officer to come out to the car to verify the 'fix' and sign-off on the ticket specifiying that the 'fix' was made (or if you see an LEO out and about ask him/her to sign-off on the ticket); and

c) Go to the court listed on the bottom of the ticket and turn-in the signed-off ticket to the court.

DONE!!

Lots of things can happen to a front plate... aside from not installing it...

Front plates tend to be vulnerable to collision and even minor parking "Bumps"

Many are installed with only two screws fastened the plastic of the bumper...

Rear Plates are generally better protected and often have 4 screws hold them.

Not all states require front plates and out of state cars often lack the hardware to mount one.

One of my first "Real" jobs was working for my uncle at a car Dealership around age 12 installing License Plate Frames

I believe there is also now a fee for getting this matter fixed. Last I heard it was something like $10.

That's correct, it is $10. Also, you can just mail the signed ticket to the court.
