Well just one more week to go befor we come home to Maine. We have been packing and making calls to get set up in Maine. I just cant wait. Its so worth the 9 hour drive to get to my house. My surgery was canceled. Some b.s. about my heart beat being off or something. I kind of tuned them out after canceled. I will just have to get it done in Machias. Later much later. Any who just wanted to tell my neighbors to be that I will see you soon. And we are looking soooooooooooo forword to being where the way life should be.

Yes our new baby will be born at Machias hospital. I do hug my wife as often as she will let me. Does any one know where the closest train or bus station is to Lubec. We have a friend that comes up from Florida once a year. Correction my wifes friend not mine. She is a total slob. Worse than my kids. Any who, if theres any thing closer than bangor. Please let me know. If any bush pilots looking to make a buck from the air port to lubec let me know. I have a good sized yard for landing.( planes just enough room, helicoperters no problem) She also has friends from Boston that may visit and we would like to know the easiest and least inconvienant way to get the free loaders. I mean my wifes friends. I gave up friends of my own when I 1-gave up drinking, 2-started my own buisness(too many "can I have a job man") and 3- had a family. My wife says I need friends. I dont care for hers. Lack of intellectual conversations. Thats why I had a band. I said my good byes to Nostragarlic last night. It was verry sollom. I will miss them.

It's got to be hard to leave friends. Guess I'll find that out when it's my turn to come up permanently. Ed, good luck to you and yours and take it easy on the way up!

Hi to all you wonderful Maine-Iacs. My Husband and I are currently in Massachusetts, we've been here about a year and a half, and are ready to come home to Maine. We were living north of Bangor, and moved here because we had family that needed us. My husband is retired, I'm disabled, so work isn't a priority for us. There is handicapped housing in Lubec that we are applying. This will give us a starting place that's accesable. I've been reading all of your posts, appreciate all the information. Ed Smith, good luck and safe trip on your move. I was wondering if there is a gym or ymca or anything within a short driving distance.

Hmmm, how about a veterinarian, a pizza place? Please fill me in a bit more on such things as a grocery store nearby and such .
