Otherwise, I have never gotten into the routine of drinking with the guys.
I guess it was my Navy years. A group of sailors drinking will get into trouble. The better alternative is to buy a bottle, sit by yourself on the shore next to the pier to drink your bottle, then stumble onboard when your done. A sailor can do this and never get himself into trouble.
