Well, you keep one of those little garden claws in one hand, and as you approach the spot you want to stop you dig it in on one side so that you spin around, then you give a burst from the tank to decelerate.
Might take a little practice to get the hang of it...but it sounds like fun.

Just the fact you have thought it through this far is a good indication we need to get you a model airplane or something. You have to much free time on your hands.

Awww, it didn't take that much, really. It's like that old video game, Asteroids.
I have some much more interesting ideas, which is one of the reasons I needed more land, with a significant clearing...it won't be a model, more like a prototype.
Sometimes we get a nice gradual thaw with cold nights and warm days. That is also the best maple syrup producing weather.
Our worst fear is a cold spring with a sudden thaw and heavy rain around the middle of April. That's when we get severe flooding like 1997.
