It took me a while to remember this.. in girl scouts before an all day hike, we used to make these (or a vegie soup) rebury them and they would be ready when we got back! Memories... like the corners of my mind...

Ranger hope you had a great day and that delicious beans were enjoyed by all!!

St Mary's church in Bath used to have the best beanhole supper many years ago. It was in the church parking lot, and went for several days, I believe. There was a kind of "fair" that went with it.

I think the best baked bean suppers I ever attended took place in a church right next to the I-95 overpass in Yarmouth. To die for beans.

I grew up in Yarmouth and attended a lot of bean suppers there. I can't think of which church would be next to an I-95 overpass. The only two overpasses for 95 I can think of don't have a church anywhere near them, except the Nazarene church which isn't really all that close to the overpass.
Maybe it was the old masonic hall on Main street which is right beside the route one overpass. It looked like a church and had bean suppers there all the time when I was growing up. Excellent pies too.
