People in other states look at me like I have 3 heads when I talk about red hot dogs. Of course, I probably do have 3 heads from eating them when I was a kid.

lol! My oldest daughter insists that red hot dogs give her headaches and she won't eat them. She doesn't seem bothered by red dyes in anything else, but I take her word for it and don't push it.
I'm not a big hot dog fan, but to me, seeing them is very much a Maine thing, and they're everywhere. From the cart on the street to the high school basketball games to the steamer at the local gas station. And then, there's those hot dog rolls.....
Here in Las Cruces and El Paso I've seen "hot dog on a stick" at the food court at the malls. I notice that those establishments are conspicuously void of customers much of the time. Wonder why.
