We didn't have enough rain this spring.

I went home to do some landscaping after work. Started out in shorts and a t-shirt...by 7PM I was in jeans and a sweatshirt dealing with a cold misting rain.

Even more of that this AM.

BTW...my lawn is in a sad state.

Today is nice. It's not as uncomfortable as yesterday which was too humid.

I agree. yesterday was just too humid. I'm sure some love it, but I'm pretty active outside when I get home from work and it's tough to do yard work, or anything outside around the house when you just sweat from any movement. I pretty much went inside at 8PM needing a shower from all the sweat and dirt sticking to me.

Today is perfect. Sunny, less humid, 70's. I love this and probably will take a 1/2 day to get home and get some stuff done in the yard.

My lawn OCD neighbor is mowing his grass right now. I guess I should get out there and mow mine.

My rose hedge had the first bloom yesterday. I need to get out there and Monsanto (Bayer Sevin, actually) the bugs eating the leaves and trim out the deadwood I didn't catch a month ago.

I also need to paint the bottom of my dinghy. My boat is out on the mooring and I can't get to it and it's finally warmed up enough that I want to go sailing.
