This was my original point. All those factors are what the millionaires also want, so looking for all of those things without the budget to match is an exercise in frustration. Give up one or more of those things and options open up.

OP was asking for all of those things on a $850k budget, and I asked which of those things OP is willing to give up to get housing within that budget.

As I noted, in the more desirable towns within 128, the 3/2 whether roomy or not, updated or not, gets sold off-market to a builder and it's scraped within days (hours!) to make room for the next McMansion.


Only way to get something like that these days is to go to someplace like Woburn, or inherit it.
