When I think of winter, I think of MinneSNOWta! People here like to complain about winter (I think it's the official state hobby) but I really like it. I can handle -40*F better than I can handle 80*F. Even if you hate winter, there's gotta be something you like about it! I'll get the list started...

Winters were made for quilts, cocoa and good books by the fire.

It keeps the hoodlums off the street.

No mosquitos.

Time to spend with friends and family at home.

The best season for warm, comfort foods.

Winter = Free Air Conditioning!

The snow gives us an opportunity to help others in our neighborhood with shoveling.

Snow days when you can't make it to work.

Lots of coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Down comforters and flannel sheets.

Terry cloth bathrobes and flannel pajamas.

Toast and hot chocolate -- a childhood favorite.

I love how crisp the air is. It isn't like those horrid summer days when the air is heavy.

I hope you see a lot more of it this year than you did last year.

Highs in the 50's
It might make it to the low 40's more like the high 30's/

We have around 13" of snow on the ground and around 18" for the season so far.
Temps have been 10*f below Avg and we are 7" behind on snow fall so far.

I think everyone would like to see some more snow.

You have snow?? We got about a 1/4" on Thanksgiving and some of that is still visible in shaded areas on the north side of houses....
