The Shawshank Redemption
The Color Purple
Ghost
The 6th Sense
ETA, It's A Wonderful Life is liked by everyone I know. I remember the first time I watched. I was in elementary school and the teacher promised us a treat. The entire class groaned when we saw the black and white picture, lol. I'm so glad that teacher introduced me to this movie.
I did not like the 6th sense. It creeped me out big time. I would never watch it again nor recommend it to anyone - and the same goes for "Unbreakable" (I think that is the name of it).

Well, as has been observed, there is NO movie everyone likes.
I would submit, however, a recent one that most everyone seems to like
The Blindside
And while we're discussing it, if you were to ask me the least favorite movie I've ever seen, I
would pick The Shawshank Redemption. The language was one of the drawbacks. I told my husband that I doubted that they talked that bad even in prison in the forties! And I just found the prison circumstances hard to watch. Hated that movie!
Lord of the rings. Even my mom said it was ok although she didnt go as far as saying she liked it.
Shawhawnk is a good one.
The Green Mile
Lord of the Rings was one of the worst movie I ever saw. I was coerced into watching it by a teenage neighbour and it was excruciating. It looked like a video game to me. Not at all what I thought Tolkien would have envisaged.
