I never heard of Goodfellas but how could anyone like Groundhog Day? that movie was obnoxious!
i'm not even defending Groundhog Day, but this coming from sombody who has never heard of the movie, Goodfellas, is actually an endorsement for Groundhog Day or any movie that you dont like. can somebody give me a QFT???

What? I don't get your point, will you please explain yourself including QFT.
sure, i'll explain it. no problem. but first, d'you wanna explain why you're rolling your eyes at me?
What? You replied to my post with some kind of put down. Since I didn't get it, I asked you to explain yourself. If you don't, your put down is lost on me and you've wasted your time.
i'm gonna say bad example. most men dont really care for Titanic. there's even a backlash among women.
I'm a woman and I loathed it. The costumes and sets were magnificent and visually it was superb ( apart from really appalling special effects) but the film as a whole was grossly over-rated, exploitative and voyeuristic in my opinion.
Ugh... Gone with the Wind... so boring. I watched it for the first 2 hours-- then I thought it might be over-- BUT NO! NO! It just said "flip your dvd for the next half" ANOTHER 2 HOURS! I just about died from boredom at that point.
But maybe these romantic movies aren't my thing-- as I really hated Casablanca...
I'll throw out:
Saving Private Ryan
The Little Mermaid / The Lion King / Aladdin (come on, how can you not love disney?)
The Godfather (seriously, who could not love this movie?)
All About Steve (ok this one's a joke...)
I for one loved All About Steve!
I'll add to the list:
My Cousin Vinny (we just watched it again last night and commented that they really don't make truly funny stuff like that anymore)
It's a Wonderful Life
Forrest Gump (although my FIL hates this movie, he is the only one I've ever heard who didn't like it)
Maybe there should be a new thread titled "Movies YOU liked but other people don't seem to"...I know I could come up with a few of those.
