It looks like he's suited for the sea or swamp, not the friendly skys. To me the outfit looks more like a lizard suit or some kind of fish get up. I'm sure they know what their doing.

Haha, I agree. It looks almost like a modified version of the Spider-Man suit.
Who is the new Superman? He looks short. The last guy had the looks and the frame, this guy looks like a "Beverly Hill 90210" reject.

Actually, he's an English actor names Henry Cavill from the Tudors mini-series. He's actually quite handsome, but unless they do something with his English accents, Superman could sound funky.
I don't mind the suit. I think they are trying to appeal to younger people/kids with a new type of image or look.
Russell Crowe is playing Jor El. Kevin Costner is playing Mr. Kent.
Supes being played by an English actor is no big deal. It's acting, after all. Christian Bale (Batman) is a English. Sean Connery was a Scottish actor, who played English spy James Bond. And I'm pretty sure Mark Hamill wasn't really from Tatooine. As long as the actor can do the accent of his character, who cares?
I like how his crotch bulges out in his suit. Who said this movie was for children
