Soylent Green (1973) think that should be improved.
They remade it in 2007 as "The Invasion" with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.

I kid you not, I have Wallace, Gromit, Feathers McGraw and the Wrong Trousers figures on my desk at work. Only a select few have ever walked in and knew what they were.

Love those characters too. Check out Mary and Max (based on a true story).

No, it sucked. The '78 version is still the best.

Ok, I love the old monster movies so here we go:

Gamera

Creature from the Black Lagoon

Blacula (and please, no jokes that a Vampire in Brooklyn was the remake)

War of the Gargantuas

Them

No more Godzilla, King Kong, Frankenstein, Dracula, or Mummy remakes please.

'The Blob'. Remember that movie? It was with Steve McQueen. He hated it but I think with modern technical stuff it could be remade to be real good.
