Just watched "Sexy Beast". The Don Larson (?) character played by Ben Kingsley is perhaps THE most disturbing sociopathic mobster I've EVER seen portrayed! The language alone should carry some special "Double-R" Rating & Warning! It makes "Deadwood" look almost tame, though Ian McShane from that excellent HBO series is also in SB as a pretty vile (but at least occasionally likable!) character.
The last scene in this movie, with the devil kicking the mobster's coffin open, only to find Kingsley's character wryly looking up at him in disgust, is truly disturbing!
I had to go watch three episodes of Two and a Half Men just to get the psycho taste out of my head!
"Trapped". Movie about a man being chased by Dobermans. For some reason, this movie affected me negatively, I have been scared of Dobermans ever since.
Definately Requiem for a Dream for me. It's one of my all time favourites but it still gives me the creeps every time I see it. Anyone who does drugs after watching it is either insane or suicidal because it is the most powerful anti-drugs message I have ever seen. It should be mandatory viewing for all young teenagers.
I dont mean to turn this into a debate but you are painting a very broad brush with this statement. You can do drugs without being a hardcore heroine addict that allows it to dictate your life. Your statement is like saying anyone who eats junk food after seeing Wall-E is insane or suicidal. Just like anything else in life, drugs can be consumed responsibly.
I love disturbing movies so this thread is great for me I just watched Audition after several people mentioned it here and it is indeed quite disturbing, but in a good way! In case anyone else wants to watch it:

This is a disturbing. Sorry, but there is nothing healthy about doing drugs.

Audition is one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen! Loved it!
If I already answered this question I apologize. I know the thread started in 08 so it's possible I did. I think my answer would still be the same "Dead Man Walking" with Susan Sarandan and Sean Penn. It was based on a true story. The image is profound and I wish I had never seen it.
saw that this was just mentioned once many, many pages back and as this is the most disturbing movie I recall seeing, thought I'd put up the trailer. Probably not suitable for work. I do tend to avoid the really "sick" ones if possible and thought I would never watch the Hostels but did in the sake of research.
