I was thinking about how much I love Steve Albini as a musician and a producer. Granted, he is not exactly associated with metal but his production has a distinct, heavy sound ~ great for metal.
He produced my favorite album, Times of Grace, by the legendary band Neurosis, Here is an example of the greatness of that album...
Reads-with your post u got me thinkin bout Machine Head man.-thanks- Freaken love this band!!! I think this band has -or at least it feels like to me-so much passion in their music, there is so much emotion packed into their songs. I just love what their music does for me and to me!
