I'm not going to say not to post glam metal and trend metal, but please think of songs with power and substance that define the genre. Thanks!
I'll say: In no order
1) Number of the Beast- Iron Maiden, if this one don't make you wanna bang your head nothing will, so put back in your Yanni or your Toby Keith and go back to the dining room.
2) Angel of Death- Slayer, Once again if this don't make you bang your head and/or wanna put the pedal to the metal, nothing will, so put back in your Nickelback or your Trisha Yearwood and head for the sofa.
3) Balls to the Wall- Accept, Man any dude who is 4' 3" and belts out notes like this little German fella needs some respect. If you can't respect the Udo then put back in your Garth Brooks or your Lil' whoever and get over to the patio, we are out of hot dogs.
4) Last Caress-Misfits, Not Metal per say, but the lyrics to this song scream METAL! If you don't know who Glenn Danzig is then put back in your Black Eyes Pea Beans or your Timberlake or tree river guy and take a back seat in the short bus, we'll call your number when you turn cool.
5) Breaking the Law- Judas Priest, nuff said. Black leather and motorcycles on stage proves my point. If you can't rock your fist to this song then you might not need to even have any hands. Put back in your Seether or your Daughtry and go visit the grand canyon...keep walking, it's a beautiful sunset don't ya wanna get closer? Keepa walkin....
