Great fall color also exists west of I-93 in the White Mountains. I took a trip on 118 highway north of Warren a couple days ago and saw a moose alongside the road there. That made the trip worth it

Thanks for the updates all. Seven days to go and we'll be there.
Cant wait to get out of this heat (Only 96 today) and into some fall weather.
Been very busy preparing for the trip. Keep the updates coming.

Here in Deerfield it is turning rapidly. It is very colorful in the Pembroke, Allenstown and Concord areas also. It seems to be turning earlier this year contrary to past recent years. The color is absolutely outstanding and the best in many years.

Everyday we go out the trees along the roads are turning. So PRETTY! I've not seen fall foliage in over 15 years, and even in Chicago it was never like this.

Latest report is up. High color now in the higher elevations, low color in the southeastern part of the state and moderate color elsewhere.
Should be absolutely wonderful when I go back in a week.

Latest report has been posted. The northern half of the state is now in high color, with northern Coos county and the upper elevations of the White Mountains at peak foliage. The southern half of the state is at moderate color.

Basing in N. Conway, we drove the Kanc today and then through Franconia Notch up to Littleton area and then back on the 302. The color North of the notch was explosive! Moderate to high color in the Conway Valley today and the highest peaks of the mountains received a dusting of snow. It was great.
On the way down the 302 we saw our first Moose! OMG I didnt realize how big they are. No wonder they destroy cars and kill people. Watch out for the Moose!
The wife and kids have loved thier first 24 hours in NH and we have the rest of the wek and many more activities planned. I wil post pictures ASAP!
