taxes are based on assessed value not what it is worth, for example my home is assessed at 637k. it is currently on the market for twice that number, my 14.5k taxes are based on the assessed value

even though people are renting the owner of the home they are renting are paying the property taxes and those taxes are reflected in the rent.

how about people like me, 14.5k a year in taxes 2 kids who have never step foot into a government school. I get to pay school taxes and tuition.

My point is that your school portion of the property tax should be based on how many kids you have in the system, not how many rooms you have in your house.
Yes all homeowners should have to support the school system to operate with a base payment then a per child cost.
Very simple the overpopulationists should have to pay more than those who are responsible adults.

The Catholic Church would never let that happen "...be fruitful and multiply" LOL : ))) I agree but it would never work that way - no one would be having children if that was the case. Only those on Welfare who get a raise every time they have a child : )
