I'm fine... I'm counting my blessing everyday that I am one of the lucky ones who hasn't been effected by all this crap as of yet! Business is picking up... sold the house..bought a house... it's all good on this end! I'm still feeling positive!!! The last one passed and so shall this one.

Sounds like people will be drinking Busch beer and eating spagettios. People the reality check is here. Sell the second cars, skip a vacation, downgrade the 4 or 5 bedroom home, no ipod and Karate classes for Johnny and skip the dance rehersals for Sussie. Conserve people and we wouldn't be in this boat.

That's exactly what I am in the process of doing - smaller house..smaller monthly payments..cash in the bank after closing...

Until they start jumping out the windows on Wall St I'll just ride it out
Kids in their 30's,40's have plenty of time to recoup...me & hubbie well we are going to take a hit for sure..just have to re evaluate retiring early

I'm sure more are trying JM... I consider myself one of the lucky bastids to have been able to sell. It's tough out there..even for those who are trying to do the right thing!
My neighbor..Mr. Investment guy - has been on my case for years, telling me to invest more, buy stocks, etc. - well he got his statement yesterday..he's down 80g's... I told him that I was down as well...$800.00
