Wow..What a great Game!!


Mayfield wins 49-48 when the Clovis licker misses the PAT in Double OT!!!

Hate to see a game end that way and I feel bad for the Clovis kicker.

I really thought Clovis would have gone fot 2 points as it was already double ot and Mayfield couldn't stop them but Mayfield is the best team in NM as they have not lost to a team from NM in 3 years now.

Clovis gave it their heart as they really turned it around from the first meeting where Mayfield beat them badly 38-20.

So congrats to the Las Cruces Mayfield Trojans for winning the class 5A Football Championship.

Mayfield almost did that in the first OT. It would have been a good call either way as both defenses were dead tired.

Forgot to mention the 4A title game Roswell Goddard at Artesia and 3A titile game Las Vegas Robertson at Santa Fe St.Mike are on at 1.00 P.M. on NMAA TV.
