My wife's favorite pieces of Maria Adelicia's pottery.

As you can see the turquoise police were here too!

If anybody is viewing this thread go to the beginning and read from there. It gets hilarious at times. Some of these people could probably be comedy writers if they wanted to.

What the hell is wrong with you!!!

I'm beginning to think I'm headed towards making the right decision! I love that stuff!

Actually, I don't know ANYONE who has their home decorated that way. Most people I know have the odd ristra or small NA/SW piece around the house, but I have yet to be in a pastel, howling coyote, Indian feathered, dreamcatcher home yet.
Well... I have some stuff sort of like that, some of it from AZ and UT... My darned ristra got all moldy and I had to throw it out. That's why I need to move to NM, so I can buy the replacements!

Um... Are you sure there's a legal requirement for that? I gave up ties of all kinds. The only thing I want around my neck is the arms of the woman I love!

Oh I love that Kokapelli stuff! I'll have to admit I've got a Kokapelli belt buckle, Kokapelli bracelet, and I think I've got a Kokapelli ring somewhere! (smirk)

I bought them in UT actually...

Hrm... I've got a howling coyote etched glass candle holder. I bought it in Sherman Oaks (San Fernando Valley part of L.A. where I currently reside, unhappily.)

Eventually, it 'spiraled-out-of-control' and OP signed off, but the good members of the forum carried on in the same spirit.

All between 09:18 and 11:45 am

Somehow, I just found it interesting.
Me too. I haven't read the NM forum since yesterday. Glad I didn't miss the topic!

I just love that! Yes, I know I can't afford stuff like that.

I agree! I wondered what the topic was, saw your reply, went back and read the whole topic. I hope nobody minded my long post.

I'm beginning to get more certain that NM is the place for me!

I have a medicine wheel from New Mexico hanging on my wall. Does that make me an honorary New Mexican?

Post #65 looks like home to me.

ps adding the washing machine to back of the pick up truck completes the xeriscaping.

Somehow I can't imagine that you would have vehicles and
appliances in your yard -- just sitting there -- for long.

I imagine you going out and repairing them.

" ps adding the washing machine to back of the pick up truck completes the xeriscaping. "

Assuming that the truck has enough metal in the bed that has not rusted through to hold the washing machine.

In the bottom of the washing machine is a gray ( formerly white ) gym sock, curved to fit the contours of the machine.

Don't forget the Kokopelli garden gnome next to the pot-holed driveway...
It's a sign that you are diverse enough in your outlook to truly appreciate
the nuances of regional cultures and ethnicity.
