When they requested $25. - they said - it's for Background check, they never said - for credit check. When they gave me a Friendly Reminder/ I have it right now under my eyes: it's stated: Please be advised that there is a background investigation fee. The fee is $25 for households of 1 or 2 adult members and $50 for households containing 3 or more adult members. Bennil, did you saw who did your credit check? What is it stated?

Wink lyla45

Almost all developments, guys, in luxury buildings , with mixed income tenants. That's why they so strictly do the credit check there. Our development for low income tenants and for some people from mental institution. That's why I assume they don't do the credit check. And also it's totally new neighborhood.

I feel the same way, at least you guys are farther than me. I just dropped of my docs for 626 Flatbush 2 weeks ago so I am very early in the process. I've already started buying stuff, either way I will need it when I move. It's tough waiting. I stalk my mailbox everyday.

Cool lyla45

I found from other forums, that HPD consider your application papers just if it no older than 120 days. Same way for the leasing agent be for signed a lease. If it's already more than 120 days, you have to resubmit some papers/paid stubs from job and maybe something else. Also I found that those lotteries are late everywhere/Hunters Point, Yomo Toro. Specialy Yomo Toro at Bronx/people passed the interview by January 31 and by February 12-16. And they are still waiting. It seems like common thing withing those lotteries, lol

Well said.

Its just the way these lotteries are...lots of paperwork and lots of waiting.

Just sit tight and keep busy. Because once they call you it moves really fast and they dont give many options for move-in dates. Well thats what happened to us Hunters Point folks.
