Looks like the site for market rate rentals at 280 W 24th has been posted this week (https://chelseacanvasnyc.com/) and notes that it "arrives" March 2024. And it has a name: Chelsea Canvas

I've been trolling building progress since the lottery closed and some non-construction-related info is beginning to surface. Curious to see the layouts once they start posting the market rate rentals. CityRealty (https://www.cityrealty.com/nyc/chels...-street/186199)
and StreetEasy (https://streeteasy.com/building/chelsea-canvas) have pages up but no listings yet.

Please post here if anyone has any intel. I'm getting stuff together for the document request I got a couple of days ago. Good luck to all!

Seems like radio silence lately on 280 W 24th!

There were market rate apts listed on StreetEasy early in March that were pulled down. I walked by the building on Sunday and it doesn't look quite ready to roll. Still lots of scaffolding and boarded up entrance.

Anything going on?

They just got their tco on 3/21

I imagine things will progress quite fast now that they have the tco and can sign leases and start process for market rate and lottery etc

Maybe they hit send too fast. Can you reply and ask for details? Intuition tells me they want fresh income documents such a pay stubs, and/or pension and ssa statements, and such.

I suggest you mention in the first sentence or two of your correspondence that your household has a qualified senior citizen and a qualified mobile/hearing disability member.

Anyone else contacted for 280 W 24th?

It doesn't even look like the market rates have rental activity. Same 7 apartments on multiple realty sites.

Wonder what's up.
