Great opportunity in Chelsea for seniors/households with at least one person 62+. Building looks nice, in-unit w/d, and nice affordability for lower AMIs.

We need, like, 40 more of these kinds of buildings. The apartments don't exactly look huge, but hopefully by that point in your life you are looking to downsize anyway.

They keep pushing the closing date back for it so maybe there's not that many seniors who are applying or that know about these opportunities

i think more seniors would apply if the rent was $0 like the other senior housing lotteries

I'm almost tempted to have my mom apply (she doesn't live in NYC now) on the off chance...but then I'm not ready to have her move out here yet!!!

Not all of them are for seniors too so worth a shot applying and seeing if you get lucky!

Yes, the income may be too high for some seniors getting retirement.

There’s only 4 apartments in the 130% that are not for seniors. So if you making money in the hundred of thousands you may have a shot.
