Out of curiosity, what did you think was cheap about them? We just had a very different experience.

This is only my opinion. The way that the kitchen is made for example (cheap laminate, particle boards), if you open the fridge the door would not open fully as it would bump in the wall, we even found gums in the cabinet which is very weird. The door of some washers/dryers was right behind the entrance door, which is not convenient at all. In my opinion, they forgot to think about a lot of details when they built these apartments. Many people from the group were disappointed, as we know you can find much better for the same price.

Gah! In the same boat Bagel! We've been waiting since Friday!! We're hoping to hear something soon as we have to tell our current landlord by next week!

Yes!! A few of us on the forum first submitted documents about a month and a half ago and now we're just waiting for final approval from HPD.
