100 Maiden Lane is basically a frat house. Silver Towers out on 42nd and 11th has a lot of young professionals, most are single or couples. It has a pool as well.
A word about 2 Gold. It is a party building. And he will definitely make friends if he goes out onto the roof deck on weekends and mingles.
Yes, I second 2 Gold. Tons of young professionals, modern building, nice digs, the rooftop view is out of this world and lots of young people go up there in groups to hang out and lounge on the wooden chairs.
