A trains will go as far as Howard Beach before turning back towards Brooklyn, starting Sunday. There will be shuttle bus service between Howard Beach and Far Rockaway. And coupled with the shuttle train service between Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park, I think things are shaping up pretty well transit wise for the Rockaways, all things considered.

Also, the R is still not running between Manhattan and Brooklyn, it was as of yesterday running between 71st Ave in Queens and 34th Street /Herald Aquare, and between Jay Street /Metrotech and Bay Ridge/95th.

As of yesterday, the N train was running over the Manhattan Bridge, so was not stopping at Prince Street, City Hall, Cortland St, or Court Street.
