We have stopped operating buses south of 23rd Street in Manhattan because of dangerous conditions.

edit: I now see this map was already posted in post #120. sorry bout that. MTA top guy and Governor talking on TV now. heard something said by Governor about Transportation emergency = fares waived for tomorrow and Friday

As for paying once service comes back, you should be able to get a MetroCard at a neighborhood deli or suopermarket or something.

But what ultimately happened to that route I don't know.
There was the B51 from Downtown Brooklyn to City Hall via the Manhattan Bridge.
There was also the B39 from Williamsburg to the Lower East Side via the Williamsburg Bridge.
Both were cut back on June 27th, 2010 because they duplicated the subway. Obviously they would come in handy now, but the MTA isn't going to run bus routes for 2 years in the event that they'd come in handy one time.

If it's anything like last time, I'm guessing Choice C. But then again, I think they mentioned something about LIRR/MNRR passes being valid until November 5th, so I guess we'll find out.
