Not at all...... Same neighborhood, but I think the distinction is relevant.

"Distinctly different" is a huge understatement.

The point is that it's all Williamsburg. The original statement was that Williamsburg has a concentrated orthodox Jewish population, which is correct. Correcting the person who said that by saying that it isn't Williamsburg, but "South Williamsburg", is, for that reason, incorrect in itself.

Include a section of Gravesend as well, which is some spillover from Midwood. There's quite a few large houses and orthodox Jews around the Ave U and Ocean Parkway area and going west to about McDonald Ave and north to Kings Hwy.

I'm "the person who said".... And I never said that it wasn't Williamsburg, I merely clarified the part of Williamsburg that you will find a concentrated orthodox population. Again, simply a distinction. "Oy vey" indeed.

Yeah, I think there's also a big population of Sephardic Jews in Gravesend.

Borough Park, Midwood, Ocean Parkway etc. Also spillover into Gravesend, Bensonhurst, and maybe even Sheepshead Bay.
