I'm driving from Lancaster, Pa to New York City. Where is the best place to park your car and take the subway or train into the city? Any info would Help!!
Thanks Much
Drive to Newark and take the Path train right into the city. Or you can drive to Jersey City/Hoboken and do the same, although Hoboken is tough to find parking.

I've always parked at Journal Square in Jersey City. Garages are 8-10 bucks a day, and right next to the PATH station. Parking in Hoboken tends to be more expensive.
Newark is a longer ride and you have to change trains if you're going to Midtown.

one way to do it is to drive towards the lincoln tunnel and take the last exit in NJ, next light take a left to port imperial ferry terminal. There are signs to direct you, on the NY side there will be free shuttle buses to get you around manhattan. Avoid Newark and Hoboken there is limited parking at the train stations.
Another way is to park at the Newport Mall in Jersey City and take the path to manhattan
Harrison, NJ. Safer than Newark and parking is usually $5 or $6 per day in the lots. If you can find a street spot near the PATH station it is $4 for 12 hours. That is the best deal in NJ that I am aware of.
Thanks To everyone who replied to my post. We had a Great time in the City, parked in a lot at the Chase Bank across from Journal Square in Jersey City. Paid $8.00 for the day.
Thanks Again
Todd
