Was not defending at all. Was saying that gender dysphoria is simply feeling like you're in the body of the wrong gender. I have a relative and 2 friends who are going through this and said relative and friends are far from trying to attack people on the train.
Simply put, don't paint them all with the same brush. This one needs anger management.
I know someone like this too and she is a very nice and pretty normal all things considered (although she can talk you to death lol).
Recent threads on this board have been very troubling as they seem to eventually end up bashing minorities, whether those minoroties be black, Latino, LBGT, Jewish, etc.

On my way to the office from Penn Station on the subways, I've seen some subway arguments and mostly involves women. Not just black, usually a young and an older chick that rub each other the wrong way.
