I too think she could have already been killed and the young man came upon here and touched her, or whatever, but I'm not completely convinced he killed her.
Yeah. This story made the national news. There was a lot of pressure to find someone and bring a conviction fast. This guy is mentally challenged, I think. Easy to manipulate. I don't know. Was he the perfect patsy or fall guy. Or did he really do it. Beats the heck out of me.

The mother also said something rather cryptic at the time. What some took to be sending out signals to the perpetrator as if she knew something while others think it was just grief taking. Who knows.

there are plenty of times one goes out to do something and runs across a friend, etc, and times goes by.
hell, I can walk up the block and tell my partner that I'm just going for milk, and come back an hour later...what the hell took you so long.
Oh, I saw so and so, then ran into so and so and we got talking....times goes by, it does happen.

Her dad did it. 100%. Hate to say it, but the dad having "this feeling" ... sorry that seems so suspicious to me.

Why would he kill his own daughter? I don't see a motive for him?

If not directly, he hired a hitman or arranged to have the ex boyfriend do it.

Possibly he had some shady business dealings or was in some kind of trouble.

I believe Chanel Lewis is innocent. If he is mentally incapacitated, or whatever they are saying he is ... he wouldn't have been so 'smart' with leaving a condom @ the scene etc etc. This was strategically planned out .. likely by the father ... or if not the father, the ex boyfriend, who possibly had his friends do something if not him directly.

I believe the father is behind this in some way. He knew about it. Karina was an hour late before he called the cops. I would definitely wait longer than that before being concerned my child is in danger. An hour isn't that long to be so concerned/alarmed that something happened. It was all planned out with a 'time' that the deed was complete. The dad knew about it.

Chanel Lewis also was not a big guy. Karina put up a fierce fight but he seemed scrawny to me.

Chanel Lewis admitted to it, likely because he was paid to do so. The family is behind this. It was a well thought out plan.

We may never know the truth. Find it odd 'dad' was out & about in Miami a few weeks after it happened like everything was fine. If it were my kid, I would be inside my house mourning for a long long time.
