30 years later ENY is still one of the most dangerous And poorest neighborhoods in NY. It is also one of the bluest, most Solidly Democrat parts of the city. Clearly Democrat policies are a total failure. Sadly these people keep voting for politicians who look like them and who have kept them in a cycle of perpetual poverty and violence. Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, of impeachment committee fame, blamed the Trump victory on ‘white supremacy’. These are the types of leaders who should literally be run out town. Eric Adams is another racist and pathetic borough president. Those neighborhoods, Brownsville included, will never change unless they can break the chains of the Democrat stranglehold.
Not as poor as the areas you are assuming are as opposed to of recent years of embroilement, but sure, blame the Dems for lack of actual progress that are constantly being vetoed ,what would the other side have to actually offer those in ENY...or are you projecting a hysterical facade of faults that also exist in your areas in a vein attempt to shift blame because you have no actual argument.
Nothing more racist today than many ethnic neighborhoods where certain race can't even set foot in without getting stares. I've been to Howard Beach many many times throughout the decades and nothing ever stood out to me as being racist compared with other neighborhoods in NYC that are just downright racist toward certain race.
That's because they effect the rest of the city. When was the last time someone got gunned down randomly in Howard Beach by someone living in Howard Beach?
