Wouldn't that be funny if we both end up at VIA after all of this? hahah

If I get called, I'm definitely going through the process

That would be funny and great! The only difference is that waiting for VIA wouldn't be as torturous as it was for our current lotteries, since we're already living it up

hahaha, exactly what I was thinking! Did you follow up in 2018? I think you should, just so they know you are still around

Actually, they followed up on me lol. They asked me for updated documents
I went in person and gave it to them today, since I work right around the corner
The lady said that she will keep me posted, and that I had to "re-certify" (whatever that means)

What do you think?

Re-certify, as I know it, is usually for low income band or people with sporadic income Salaried folks dont usually have to re-certify as their income is perceived to not change over an extended period of time, such as during the course of this process. So it sounds like you have to complete new asset verification type documents?? I am hardly an expert though

i think your file expires after a certain period so you need to update your paystubs, bank statements etc. This happened with me. My file expires on 1/18 but I asked for a feb 1 move in date so had to send updated docs again lol

I'm at 130% AMI, and a salaried employee. I don't get overtime, tips, etc. so I don't know what she was referring to.

Did you finally get the apartment? Three months have past by since I had contact with them, so maybe that's why they asked me for more documents. I just wish they hurry up and send it to the city!
