I've been placed on waiting list for microunit. Person ahead took the last unit. From what I heard the units are okay. Nothing amazing at all. I live by the building. there so much work they still doing. All the time invested going to interview, paperwork, money orders seems like it may not be worth it. I do hope you all get some response. Like I said before, they were good at responding back to me. But HPD system in selecting and approving documents is ridiculous.

Hi, gem217! What was your AMI if you don’t mind me asking? My log number is 4X,XXX and I was just invited to interview for a micro unit at 130% AMI. I’m confused about why I was asked to interview with such a high log, but if the sentiments in this thread are any indication, maybe it’s because the micro units definitely aren’t worth it at this level?

Hi, Booksandburritos.... AMI of 130 and log number in 3xxx for microunit. It's insane how they continue to interview people, take their money orders and keep on. Microunit def not worth at that level at all. I just find it so strange that they continue to do interviews. I know for a fact my papers are in order with excellent credit on top of being in preferred percentage. Really not understanding their process at all.

Technically they should only be accepting the money order if there is a unit available at the time of the interview according to HPD handbook.

@lloyd09... At the time of interview they had a unit. But, others are ahead applying for that unit. So I guess that policy in handbook applied in this matter. They def only have only 1 unit left and they still waiting on HPD to approval the person who is ahead of me. They submitted her papers in April and they still haven't had a response yet. If she is decline, I would be next. But I find that to be highly unlikely.

@gem217. HPD shouldn't take this long unless they messed up her paperwork or is missing some information. I gave up on my application once they put me on the waiting list and applied for another one and got approved in a week after my file was sent to HPD. Good Luck to those who are waiting to hear back

@Blessedbeyondmeasure I got approved by HPD in a week after it was submitted. I got selected for another apartment about two months later after the interview I had for Caesura. The whole process itself took about 4-5 months.

Thanks; each management company runs differently. I would just recommended to keep on applying as soon you see new ones pop up. You may just never know
