I doubt OP would take anyone for in person assistance. However, I do think that OP appreciate everyone's thoughts and input on this matter.

thanks, nybklyn :-) Thanks, trixie --- a very nice gesture; but nybklyn is correct. But with all your help and good suggestions, I will get through this -- once I get to the castle, I'm sure I'll look back and remember all your confidence boosters and thank you all again in my heart. LOL!

FYI it's not actually a castle, it's more like a small circular fort. There's a much nicer fort to visit on Governor's Island

Thanks, BlakeJones -- but this country bumpkin's going to be taking City travel a bit slow. Not sure I'm ready for exploring just yet! LOL! But thanks!

My comment was tongue in cheek. I provided helpful and encouraging suggestions earlier in the thread. I do want to know when the event is over so we get some follow up after many of us spent quite some effort providing tons of info here.

One thing I appreciate on this site is when people take the time to come back and give follow ups after having received suggestions and advice from many members.

I would rather believe in people are a*holes and looking to screw others. Human is the sneakiest creature in this planet. Even with good intention in the first place can change dramatically.

Most by far are good people. The bad ones take advantage and make everyone else look bad
