It depends where you’re at in seniority… if there is hours ( comp time) to be made senior guys will jump on that. And plus people is spread out within the five Burroughs …

Running is for suckers. What good is the pension if you can't enjoy it because you're broken?

The under amour sneaker boots are good but won't last long, I use those for summer and north face chilkat nylon for winter cause there waterproof and keep your feet warm and there light. also good warranty...if you want to spend, any red wings are good
my 2 cents

That's what 831 told the guys at fbf last sept and what they're still hearing. They would need a class of 150 every month for 6-7 months , I dont know if I believe it 100% tho, . I'm thinking itll be a big hiring year due to retirement but maybe 600-700 is the max they can crank out

Received word from a recent retiree that there is about 3500 guys filing for retirement this upcoming year. Hence why guys with numbers in the 7000s and 8000s are getting letters for physicals. This is shaping out to be a big year.

About boots, the best boot on earth right now but very very hard to find I'm 6ft 1 I weigh 245 to 255 around there. Under Armor Boa with Michelin tire bottom good luck finding them in black. 2nd boot is Nike Acg 360 air bubble. Third Nike air Bakin Boot. 4th if you want to be cheap is the Nike air Monoa. As far as rain boots nothing on this planet is better than the Muck Chore or the Mid Muck. This is money talk nothing I wrote is under 140. Except the Nike monoa that's being like super cheap. Don't buy walmart boots or you will have walmart feet. Best garbage gloves which are pretty much sold out everywhere are the Luxury Flex gloves in lime green. Trying to convince galeton to make more. Best inserts Ammex 8 mil nitrile gloves. About 140.00 for 1000. Best winter inserts can be found at any safety store they come in grey or red 4 packs for 12 bucks.
