I mean...no sane, well adjusted adult would push for the mandatory drug testing of complete strangers - something that has no impact on their personal life or bottom line whatsoever - unless they owned or were a stakeholder in a laboratory or drug testing company.
Other than that, they have nothing to benefit from it. Ultimately it would probably cost them more money. again - slowing the government down and making some contractor rich.
Probably the same people complaining about nanny-state governments regulating salts and fats and plastic straws...think it's OK to pull people's blood en masse and pay for lab tests each month. LOL ...
Wonder if they'll be calling for blood tests in 20 years when they're getting a universal income check cut because automation 'took' their job, but I digress
