I work in midtown. The bore of Manhattan if you want culinary choices. In comparison, other areas are blessed.
We have rafiqi, Greek and a few other trucks near by. From one side, I feel like these trucks make the city look like third world dumps, but on another side, I’m glad they are there or else we would be eating from generic delis, buffets and chipotle.
How do food trucks make cities look third world? I believe all major cities in the U.S. have them.
Haven’t had a good one yet. The halal trucks are OK. Greek is pretty good at a couple spots
None of the trucks compare to Los Tacos No. 1. Best tacos around by a mile
I definitely find the average taco truck to be better than the average halal cart. That chicken/ricr drenched in that mayonaisse-tasting white sauce doesn't do it for me. While most taco trucks at least have good tacos and tortas.
