I wasn't trying to be "right" about anything. You've got issues, dude.
Watch the video, and you'll understand why Henna responded to you that way.
When you see that the guy played absolutely no role in what happened, and that this could have happened to anybody, you'll hopefully realize how bad your post looked.
I am getting paranoid and DARTING on and off my elevators.
Now I understand what happened after using Chrome to see the first video. He wasn't crushed between the elevator cab and wall, as the OP stated, but rather the top of the elevator door and the main floor when the elevator dropped. He was guillotined.

I do . I also worked in a bookstore where the original Mr. Otis would send us a list of books that he wanted and we would ship them to him. I think he was in Hong Kong.

Oh my goodness what a horrible way to go! By the way, I simply copied and pasted what I had read that he was crushed between the wall, etc. I think how you described it is exactly what happened. Poor man with the backpack who had to hear his screams and the elevator guillotining him! How about the people who were inside the elevator? Did half his body go in?!
Me too! I walked by the building today (it’s directly on my way to work) and saw that the elevator is still closed off with a barrier and city notices pasted all over the door. Also, I saw a young guy moving in. I thought to myself “poor guy!!”
I don’t care how nice the apartment is or how affordable it is. You couldn’t pay me to live in that place! Oh hell no!
