OC is not conservative, you're stuck in the 80s

I get what you are saying but I think sadly that alot of people don't put 2 and 2 together and realize that a major reason that New York and other similar states are so expensive is because of politics and one party rule. Some just don't think about politics and it does not help that a biased media simply never discusses it.

That last point I think is key. If an issue is simply not discussed in the open by a biased media, then issues remains hidden so most of the public don't ask questions that might be inconvenient for the ruling party to answer.

Here is one - New York spends a fortune on educating its children but where is all the money really going? The results don't seem to match the amount of money being spent. But don't hold your breath waiting for the New York media to ask and report on it.

These tiny towns hardly have any political influence except in an extremely close election. Pine Valley (population 12) is a private golf club. One of the highest ranked in the world.

Man, for some people how much time a person spent sitting in classrooms is everything, the most important thing in the world. But you illustrate the point: why not stay in your "highly educated" utopia? Why move to a place where you'll be surrounded by a bunch of people who you consider to be beneath you?
