This eegit is like taxes, he just doesn't know when to stop.

With just six months left in office BdeB is doubling down on busting Staten Island, and every other area he does not like because it's too "nice".

He dumped a homeless shelter in my old neighborhood too, despite pretty much everyone else opposing it. Thnkfully by the time it went up I was long gone.

deBlasio is intentionally placing the homeless into middle-class neighborhoods (of all races) in order to destabilize them. That's why he placed violent homeless men into that hotel on the UWS last year, and a motel in Queens before that. That's why he's building a shelter in St. George S.I., a neighborhood trying to revitalize itself. That's why landlords are forced to accept disruptive section-8 renters, even in nice well-kept buildings.

The big question is what does 'front-runner' Eric Adams think of all this?????

How is this different then any other homeless shelter going up in any other boro. It's like people on Staten Island think they are special.

Have been in NYC for 30+ years, I can't tell you the location of a single homeless shelter. I've lived in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

Pretending that homeless shelters are all over the place is dishonest.

Then you need to open your eyes and walk neighborhoods.
They are all over the city.

I'll admit that I can't tell you about where they are off the top of my head in most of the boroughs, but I definitely know where a few of them are/were in Brooklyn. Most everyone and their mama who lives in Northern Brooklyn knows that the Atlantic Avenue Armory is a men's homeless shelter. There was also one on Dean Street between Vanderbilt and 6th Avenues temporarily, but they shut it down as they continued to build out the Pacific Yards project.

Everyone once and awhile there is citizen outcry reported via local media concerning plans to open additional shelters in a particular area across the city.
