I implore...no, I beg....any middle class white man/woman worth their salt and with a college degree, DO NOT TAKE A JOB WITH THE NYPD.
It's high time these hoods police themselves, which they are starting to do. You see less and less white cops but there needs to be NONE. You've made your sacrifice already. Let others step up. If you wanna be a cop so bad, move to PA/FL/wherever.

Absolutely good advice.
The laws governing this diverse city are geared towards criminal empathy.
The percentage of repeat criminals is high. Add racial disparity and it is hard
not to consider the possible racial motive behind violence on cops.
Whether it be a white criminal attacking a black officer or a brown criminal
attacking a white officer.
If I were a police officer I would ask for reassignment into an area that
best increases my chances of survival. If that doesn't work simply observe
rather than a react.

One can easily assume the lack of reaction as temporary.
Watered down versions of the best one can possibly be.
It is growing up in surroundings of repetative violence.

Just like Arabs celebrate when Jews get killed, some celebrate when cops get killed. They just can’t be open about it here but you better believe it’s celebrated.
The Liberal polticians are also responsible for this officer's death and they should also be charged with murder! It was THEIR catch n release Democrap policies that allowed this to happen.
It is patently obvious that we have a criminal problem, not a gun problem.
It is obvious that crime goes down when criminals are locked up in prison, and crime does not go down when woke DAs and judges let them out on cashless bail, refuse to prosecute, or give out light sentences amounting to hand slaps.
Police cannot stop crime. All they can do is clean up the mess afterward. The key is to get criminals off the street so they can't repeat their crimes multiple times. Lock them up.
This isn't rocket science but for some reason, woke blue cities prefer criminals to be free and roaming amid their disarmed victims.
What is worse is that voters can't fix the problem with woke DAs when they can just steal elections in their favor, the way that is happening this very moment in Cook County, Illinois (Chicago).
What power do the voters have? Their vote is stolen in favor of soft-on-crime DAs. They didn't vote for violent Venezuelan ex-cons to illegally flood NYC.
