That is always not the case. Transfers generally open twice a year regardless of a prospective new class or not. It is rare, but movement is made at times w/o a class coming on. A good sign in my opinion for a new class coming on would be transfers opening again not too long after a previous closure.

In the 3 years I been on, I believe transfers opened 3-4 times. It doesn't mean they are getting ready to bring in a new class. The transfer period is usually a few weeks. If you plan on transfering I suggest do it district wide don't pick a section, it increases your chances of getting in.
Good Luck

was at fbf today as well......trainers said they usually know about 2 months ahead of time before a class so that they can schedule all the guest speakers during orientation and get the cdl classes ready.....there is a potential 150 budgeted but if its going to happen it will be late summer into fall because they will not do during night plow again to avoid the mess that occurred this year
